Dippenaar Choice Fruit is the grape marketing company owned by brothers Alwyn, Pieter and Paul Dippenaar, South African table grape producers in the Orange River region. This family business grows, packs and proudly exports the finest early season quality grapes to customers around the world under the Dippenaar Choice Fruit brand.
Dippenaar Choice Fruit is owned and run by the Dippenaar brothers who are the company directors. The company was established in 2010 to market their grapes produced on their eight production units situated at Blouputs and Augrabies in the Lower Orange River region of South Africa’s arid Northern Cape Province.
By marketing their own fruit they are able to establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with their international and domestic receivers and to ensure that they meet the expectations of their customers.
The Dippenaar farming history started in 1982 when Paul Dippenaar Snr. purchased their first farm in the area. It was later formalized with the establishment of PJ Dippenaar and Sons (Pty.) Ltd. Today this expanding family enterprise produces table grapes from 329 hectares of vineyards and will soon expand their productions to 340 hectares. The current production is approximately 1.3 million cartons (4.5kg carton equivalents) and this is expected to increase to 1.6 million cartons by 2025.
